Fold-Over Business Cards for Extra Information Without a Larger Finished Card

Fold-Over Business Cards provide twice the panel space of a conventional card while folding to a familiar 3.5" × 2" or 2" × 3.5" finished size. Use the extra panels for services, appointment details, maps, schedules, QR codes or a stronger brand story. Choose from coated, textured, laminated and specialty finishes—including Akuafoil and Spot UV combinations.

Fold-over artwork setup

Build artwork at the full flat size shown in the template. Keep important text and logos at least 0.125" from trim and the fold. Extend background artwork 0.125" beyond trim, and verify panel orientation before submitting the file.

Akuafoil mask setup

Provide a separate vector mask for each side receiving Akuafoil. Use solid 100% black for foil areas, keep foil elements clear of the fold and trim safety zones, and do not use gradients or transparency in the mask.

Spot UV mask setup

Supply a separate vector Spot UV mask using solid 100% black for gloss areas. Keep Spot UV away from the fold and critical trim edges, and align the mask precisely with the print artwork.

What sizes are available?
The available flat sizes are 3.5" × 4" folding to 3.5" × 2", and 2" × 7" folding to 2" × 3.5". Horizontal and vertical presentation options are available.
How should I set up artwork around the fold?
Create artwork at the full flat size shown in the selected template. Keep critical text and logos at least 0.125" from the fold and trim, and extend backgrounds 0.125" beyond trim for bleed.
Do specialty finishes need separate files?
Yes. Akuafoil and Spot UV selections require separate vector mask files using solid black to identify the effect areas. Keep those masks aligned to the print artwork and clear of the fold and trim safety areas.
How long does production take?
Applicable production options are 8–10 business days or 5–7 business days, with a 12:00 PM Eastern cutoff. Shipping or delivery transit time is additional.
