What makes Black Edge Bookmarks different? They are built with bright white printable face stocks around a black center layer, creating an ultra-thick bookmark with a clearly visible black edge.
What type of projects are they best for? They are a strong choice for premium promotions, hospitality, retail, galleries, museums, schools, churches, special events and branded keepsakes.
Can I write on Black Edge Bookmarks?Yes. The outer faces are uncoated, so they can be written on with pen, pencil or permanent marker depending on the application.
Will the black core affect the printed artwork? No. The printable outer faces remain bright white. The black center layer is visible primarily along the finished edge.
How should I prepare the artwork?Prepare artwork at final size in CMYK color. Use 300 dpi raster images, extend artwork 0.0625 inch beyond each trim edge when bleed is required, and keep important text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside the cut line.
Can I add rounded corners?Yes. Square corners, 1/8-inch rounded corners and 1/4-inch rounded corners are available where shown in the Specifications section.
Can I add a drilled hole?Yes. A drilled hole can be added when shown for the selected size, which is useful for tassels, rings or other attachments.
Where can I find the correct template?Open the Templates section and choose the finished size, orientation and corner treatment that match your order before preparing final artwork.
