How does the one-way effect work?The printed face presents the graphic while the perforations allow people on the viewing side to see through the material. The effect depends heavily on lighting, and it is strongest when the printed side is brighter than the viewing side.
Can people always see through Window Perf?Visibility through the perforations changes with viewing distance, artwork density, ambient light and the brightness difference between the two sides of the glass. When the viewing side becomes brighter than the printed side, the one-way effect can be reduced.
Does Window Perf provide complete privacy?No. It can reduce visibility through the glass under favorable lighting conditions, but it should not be treated as a complete privacy solution.
What surfaces are suitable for Window Perf?Window Perf is intended for clean, smooth and compatible glass. Remove dust, oils, fingerprints, wax and cleaner residue before installation.
Can Window Perf be laminated?Yes. Gloss and matte lamination are available for compatible configurations. Lamination can add surface protection and may also change the finished appearance.
Can Window Perf be used on vehicle windows?Perforated graphics are used on some vehicle windows, but placement can be subject to local laws and visibility requirements. Confirm that the intended location is permitted before ordering or installing the graphic.
What file format should I provide?A print-ready PDF is preferred whenever practical. Keep logos and text vector when possible, embed or outline fonts, and use adequate image resolution at the final printed size.
Should I change the artwork because the material is perforated?Bold graphics, larger text and strong contrast generally reproduce more clearly across the perforated surface than very fine details. Keep important information comfortably inside the finished edge.
