Prepare artwork at the exact selected flat size. Include bleed when artwork reaches a trimmed edge, and keep important content clear of folds, rounded corners, cut paths and drilled holes.

Use the PDF template matching the selected flat size, finished size and orientation.
Extend edge-to-edge artwork 0.125" beyond every trimmed edge.
Keep text, logos, borders and barcodes away from trim, fold, hole and cut lines.
Supply one page for front-only printing or two pages for two-sided printing.
Remove crop marks, registration marks, color bars and printer notes.

Folded Tag Setup

Build artwork at the full flat size shown in the template.
Use the template fold line to position every panel.
Avoid placing small text or important elements directly on the fold.
Confirm the reading direction of all panels before upload.

Foil Mask File Setup

Create a separate mask PDF for every side receiving foil.
Use solid 100% black for foil areas and white for non-foil areas.
Match the print file’s exact dimensions, orientation and element positions.
Do not use grayscale, screens, gradients, shadows, transparency or color.
Name files clearly, such as Front-Print.pdf and Front-Foil-Mask.pdf.

Important: The black mask identifies foil placement only. It will not print black unless the same element also appears in the normal print artwork.

Contour-Cut Artwork

Supply a separate closed vector cut path named CutContour.
Use no fill and a clearly identified spot-color stroke.
Avoid tiny notches, sharp internal corners and overly intricate outlines.
Keep important content safely inside the finished cut shape.

Drilled-Hole Setup

Clearly mark or describe the exact hole-center location.
Keep critical artwork and text away from the hole and its surrounding clearance area.
Use the selected 1/8" or 1/4" finished hole size.
Do not draw the hole as a printed black circle unless that appearance is intentional.
