Print-Ready Artwork Checklist
  • Use the PDF template matching the selected size and orientation.
  • Supply one page for front-only printing or two pages for two-sided printing.
  • Extend edge-to-edge artwork 0.125" beyond the trim.
  • Remove crop marks, registration marks, color bars and printer notes.
  • Verify names, titles, award language, gift values, restrictions, dates and contact details before upload.
Variable-Text Setup
  • Provide changing information in XLS or CSV format.
  • Include one record per row with a clear header row.
  • Indicate the font, size, color, alignment and placement of each variable field.
  • Use consistent date and number formatting throughout the file.
  • Remove blank rows, merged cells, formulas and hidden columns unless specifically required.
Foil Mask File Setup

Foil is not listed as a standard selectable option for this product. For an approved custom foil quote, provide a separate mask PDF for every side receiving foil.

  • Use solid 100% black for every element that should receive foil.
  • Use white for all non-foil areas.
  • Match the print file’s exact page size, orientation and element positions.
  • Do not use grayscale, screens, gradients, shadows, transparency or color.
  • Name files clearly, such as Front-Print.pdf and Front-Foil-Mask.pdf.
Important: Request and receive approval for a custom foil quote before preparing mask artwork.
Signature and Writing Areas

When certificates will be signed or completed by hand, keep signature lines and writable fields on uncoated or writable areas. Avoid heavy ink coverage beneath handwritten names, dates, values and signatures.
