What is the difference between a flat and folded greeting card?A flat card is printed as a single finished panel, while a folded card opens to create a cover, inside surfaces and a back. Folded formats are useful when the message needs more room or when you want the familiar presentation of a traditional greeting card.
What are Moon Slits and Slide Slits?They are cut features built into selected folded-card formats. Because the cut positions are part of the finished construction, use the template that specifically matches the selected slit style rather than a plain fold-over template.
Which stock should I choose?Gloss cover is a familiar choice for bright color and photography. C2S provides a sturdy coated card surface, C1S offers coating on one side, uncoated cardstock is easier to write on, and linen cardstock adds visible and tactile texture. Choose the family that fits how the card should look and feel.
How do Aqueous, UV High Gloss and Spot UV differ?Aqueous adds a clear gloss or satin surface, UV High Gloss creates a stronger reflective finish, and Spot UV applies gloss only to selected areas of the design. Spot UV requires a separate mask file showing exactly where the gloss should be applied.
Can envelopes be printed to match the cards?Yes. Choose no envelopes, blank envelopes, full-color printing on the front only, or full-color printing on both sides where the selected combination is offered. Printed envelope options are designed without bleed.
Which template should I use?Match the template to the flat card dimensions, orientation, finished folded size, slit style and—on flat cards—the selected corner treatment. Folded cards use fold-specific templates and do not use rounded-corner template variants.
What production times are available?Standard / Bulk Run Greeting Cards are offered with 8–10 Business Days and 5–7 Business Days production options. Production time begins after the order and production-ready artwork are approved; shipping or delivery time is separate.
