Which business card size should I choose?The 2" × 3.5" U.S. Standard size is the most familiar choice. Slim, square, Euro, social and folded formats can create a more distinctive presentation when the design or amount of information benefits from a different shape.
What is the difference between Standard / Bulk Run and Quick & Short Run Business Cards?Standard / Bulk Run is intended for larger quantities and provides a broader range of stocks, specialty coatings and finishing combinations. Quick & Short Run is better suited to smaller quantities and faster production when the selected configuration qualifies.
What is the difference between aqueous and UV coating?Aqueous provides a clear coated finish with a more moderate sheen, while UV High Gloss creates a much more reflective glossy surface. Spot UV applies gloss only to selected areas for contrast and emphasis.
Can I write on UV-coated cards?UV-coated areas are very glossy and are not ideal for writing. If writing is important, choose an appropriate uncoated surface or keep the writable area free of UV coating.
Are rounded corners available?Yes. Available choices include square corners, four rounded corners in 1/8" or 1/4" radius, and selected two-corner configurations.
What artwork is required for Spot UV?Provide the regular CMYK print file plus a separate Spot UV mask. Use solid 100% K in every area that should receive Spot UV and white everywhere else. Do not use gradients, shadows, glows or grayscale in the mask.
Can Spot UV be applied on both sides?Yes, when the selected configuration offers Spot UV on both sides. Provide a separate mask for each side receiving Spot UV and keep each mask exactly aligned with the corresponding print artwork.
How long do Standard / Bulk Run Business Cards take?This product offers the applicable standard production choices shown in the configurator. Production time begins after payment, usable artwork and any required proof approval, and does not include shipping or delivery transit.
