What makes Silk Bookmarks different?Silk Bookmarks use 16pt cardstock with a smooth silk laminate, giving the finished piece a refined satin-like appearance and a premium feel.
Is the silk finish glossy?The surface has a soft low-gloss sheen rather than the strong reflection of a traditional gloss coating, which gives the bookmark a more understated appearance.
Are Silk Bookmarks waterproof?No. The silk laminate improves resistance to routine moisture and handling, but the finished bookmark should not be treated as waterproof.
What is Spot UV?Spot UV is a selective glossy treatment applied to chosen areas of the design. It can be used on logos, patterns, headlines or other elements to create contrast against the silk surface.
Can Spot UV cover the entire bookmark?Spot UV is intended as a selective effect rather than a full-surface coating. It works best when used strategically to highlight specific design elements.

How should I prepare the artwork?Prepare artwork at final size in CMYK color. Use 300 dpi raster images, include bleed when artwork reaches the trim, and keep important text and logos safely inside the cut line.
