Custom Boxes FAQ

Box artwork is prepared on a structural packaging template rather than a simple flat-size page. Choose the size, construction, stock, printing and finishing options that best fit the project, then prepare artwork on the matching dieline. Keep important content away from folds, cut edges, glue areas, handles and closure features. Specialty treatments such as Spot UV and Akuafoil may require separate effect artwork. Production turnaround begins after usable artwork, complete order details and required approvals are received and does not include shipping or delivery time.

Size & Ordering

Why does the exact box dieline matter?

Every box style has its own cut lines, folds, tuck panels and glue areas. Even similar outside dimensions may assemble differently.

Should I design directly on the dieline?

Yes. Place artwork on the exact dieline for the ordered size and keep all structural guides intact while designing.

Material & Finishing

Where should important text and logos go?

Keep critical content safely inside panels and away from cut lines, folds, glue areas, handles and closure features.

Can the inside of the box be printed?

The products in this set list Full Color Outside Only. The interior remains unprinted unless a different product specifically offers inside printing.

What is Spot UV?

Spot UV adds selective high-gloss contrast to chosen exterior artwork areas while leaving the surrounding surface less glossy.
