BOOKLETS (Thermal Bind) - Quick & Short Run
Thermal bind books are similar to perfect bind books. It does not require the creation of holes in the pages or the insertion of a
spine. Binding equipment is used to position and heat plastic or tape strips so that the pages of the document are securely bound into
a solid volume. When a front and back cover is added to the pages, the thermal binding creates a finished look that is produced at
very little cost. Because of the secure hold created with thermal binding, any books or booklets assembled with this binding method
can be opened and laid flat. This is especially helpful with workbooks or other types of study material. Readers can lay the book completely
flat if necessary, making it possible to use the hands for other purposes such as taking notes or highlighting passages. At the same
time, there are no worries of damaging the book in some manner, such as accidentally breaking the spine.

Gloss Coated Paper
Difficult to write on
Gloss Coated Paper provides a lot of shine, which results in a higher contrast and color gamut than other papers. This coating is
good for full color images where the color needs to “pop”. This coating gives a very nice finish and professional look for marketing
materials or any other kinds of prints that want to show off the color.
Matte Coated Paper
Okay to write on
Matte Coated Paper has a light coating that provides a boost to the contrast to images, but results in little glare. The matte coating
provides a smoother presentation than an uncoated sheet, and softer than the appearance of a glossy sheet. Matte sheets are good for
enhancing visual designs with a more subdued layout and color set without having a lot of glare which glossy coatings suffer from.
Easy to write on
Uncoated Paper has no extra coating or paper finishing. Since there is no coating, there is no glare on the surface. This makes it
ideal for prints that have a lot of text or reading materials. Since there is no coating, this is the most porous paper, which is the
best for smudge-less writing with the widest range of pens and pencils when compared to the other finishes. All bond stock paper is
