Gloss Coated Paper
Difficult to write on
Gloss Coated Paper provides a lot of shine, which results in a higher contrast and color gamut than other papers. This coating is
good for full color images where the color needs to “pop”. This coating gives a very nice finish and professional look for marketing
materials or any other kinds of prints that want to show off the color.
Matte Coated Paper
Okay to write on
Matte Coated Paper has a light coating that provides a boost to the contrast to images, but results in little glare. The matte coating

Cover means cardstock (thick paper). Text or Bond or Book means paper (not as thick as cardstock).
Ultra Violet (UV) Gloss is a high gloss coating, Aqueous (AQ) is a glossy coating, and Matte finish is a non-glossy, flat finish.
You cannot write or print on UV Gloss stocks, and we do not guarantee that you will be able to write on AQ coated stocks.
