Contour Cut?Artwork setupArtwork Setup for Cut to Shape (Contour Cut)Create a closed vector path that follows the exact finished shape of the graphic. Place the cut path on a separate layer above the print artwork and name the layer CutContour.Cut path: Use a spot color named CutContour. Set the path to stroke only with no fill.File setup: Keep the CutContour path as vector artwork. Do not flatten or rasterize it.Safety: Keep important text, logos and critical design elements safely inside the cut line.Shape: Avoid extremely small details, sharp inside corners and narrow projections; these may need adjustment for reliable cutting.Bleed: If printing extends to the finished edge, extend the background past the CutContour path so cutting variation does not leave an unwanted white edge.Contour Cut (Custom Shape)Follows a defined path to produce a custom-shaped graphic.Highlights: Custom shape; follows artwork pathBest for: Decals; logos; lettering; shaped signsConsider: Requires clean vector cut path; intricate shapes may need adjustmentFinishing: Artwork: vector contour path on separate named spot-color path/layer.

How do I choose among Repositionable Fabric, Magik-Stik™, Roodle® and Wallnoodle®?Start with the actual mounting surface, then consider the desired finish, how long the graphic will remain in place, how often it may be moved and whether a fabric-like or smooth graphic appearance is preferred. The material descriptions above highlight the intended applications and considerations for each option.
Are reusable graphics suitable for every wall? No. Paint type, wall texture, surface age, coatings, moisture, cleaning products and previous damage can affect adhesion and removability. Testing a small sample is recommended on unfamiliar, textured, freshly painted or delicate surfaces.
Can these graphics be moved more than once? These materials are intended to provide more repositioning flexibility than traditional permanent adhesive graphics, but the number of successful moves depends on the selected material, cleanliness of the adhesive surface, wall condition and handling during removal and reinstallation.
How should the surface be prepared?Install on a clean, dry and sound surface that is compatible with the selected material. Remove dust, oils and residue, and allow recently painted surfaces to cure fully before installation.
Can reusable graphics be cut to a custom shape?Yes, when the selected configuration supports Cut to Shape (Contour Cut). Provide a clean closed vector path that defines the finished outside shape and follow the Artwork setup guidance shown with the option.
What file format should I provide?A print-ready PDF is preferred whenever practical. Keep logos and text vector when possible, embed or outline fonts, and use adequate image resolution at the final printed size.
What is required for Cut to Shape artwork?Create a closed vector path that follows the exact finished shape and keep it separate from the printed artwork. Use the Artwork setup help beside the Cut to Shape option for the required CutContour path, safety and bleed guidance.
Can you help prepare the artwork?Yes. Choose Request Design Service (Bill Later) when the file needs layout, cleanup, resizing, contour-path setup or other design assistance before production.
How quickly can reusable graphics be produced?Standard production is 3–4 business days. Faster 2-business-day, next-business-day and same-business-day production is available for qualifying configurations submitted with usable artwork before the applicable cutoff. Shipping or delivery time is separate.
